Congratulations to all those whose efforts throughout the year were recognised at the Awards Night on Friday 20th September. It was a happy evening, enjoyed by most members of the teams - especially Ranjit, I think!!!
The Chairman thanked the Captains, Sami, Dave and Rajat, who had worked hard all year, Mark, the groundsman, Godfrey and Gary our regular umpires, Karthik for his work with Bromley Juniors and of course Jackie for her unfailing friendliness and work behind the bar. And most important of all, the wives, partners and families who have supported the players all year.
The 1st team finished 5th in Division 7 and the 2nd team finished 4th in Division 12 - both very creditable results which give some positive thoughts about next year. The Sunday team played 12 games winning 6 and seem to be back on track after a erratic 2023.
