The waste bit of land beyond the football pitch at the top seems ripe for a bit of tender loving care. Last week I went up and planted some bulbs and seeds in a small patch. No idea what will happen, and it may be that nothing will happen before next year (if anything!). It would be great if anyone had spare seeds, spare bulbs, cuttings or bushes that we could plant up there, to try and make it a little more attractive. Daffodils, snowdrops, bluebells,, herbs, lavender, bay, bushes with colour and seeds for bees and birds. Anything really. I am happy to plant them and see what happens.
If you can pass this on, there might be someone in the club who has an excess of whatever – I am happy to come and collect.
